Dog Health Questions: Muscle Spasms in Dog

IdeaMan21 | March 30th, 2009

The sucralfate was to protect the stomach from the steroid…

I won’t be able to take her to another vet for at least 7 weeks.. money issues… so I will have to continue with the small amount of muscle relaxant which from my internet research showed is given to dogs… I don’t know what else to do right now…

I would find a good chiropractor. Or acupuncturist. With spinal issues it is very possible she is having episodes of a pinched nerve.
I’m not sure about giving human muscle relaxants to a dog. I would pursue that issue as many human drugs are not appropriate for dogs.
